Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Aidan has given a wonderful Zoom insight, to our Architecture U3A group, into the the attractions of Belfast. He chosse six sites to illustrate the History of Belfast form it's founding right up to the modern day. It looks a fascinating place to visit and dispels the images we all gre up with around the troubles.
Hopefully we will soon be able to visit properly and enjoy a proper tour with Aidan.

Can't recommend this company enough. We had the most incredible tour with Larry today. He had a wealth of knowledge and made our walk relaxed and enjoyable. We will def do another tour taking in a different area.

We visited Belfast with our extended family of 11 for four days in August. Our tour guide, Aiden Walker, did an outstanding job researching our family history and introducing us to our past. Aiden was with us for three days as our guide, and Keith was our driver of the 16 passenger mini bus.
Aiden met us at the hotel each day, explained the day ahead, then made sure all of our requests were met throughout the day. He was a wealth of information, answering all of our questions.
We spent a day and 1/2 in Belfast, then ventured up the coast one day to Bushmills and the Giants Causeway. At the end of each day Aiden helped us with dinner plans and pub locations.... all of which were perfect recommendations since he really made an effort to get to know our likes and dislikes.
Don’t tour Northern Ireland without booking Aiden as your guide!!

We booked our tour months ago, and despite being the only guests, Aidan honoured our booking. I’m sure others would’ve cancelled.

These two hours flew by as we learnt a huge amount about the history and politics of NI and Belfast. He was able to put everything into context and had a real insight which was balanced and fair. All of our many questions went fully answered. (Even about Line of Duty locations!)

We saw parts of the city we would never have noticed or ventured into and Aidan gave us many tips about other places we may find interesting. We would wholly recommend this tour for visitors. Well worth it!

Aidan gave us a lot of infomation and answered any questions we had. We learnt a lot and got a taste of the city. He also recommends it a great little craft beer bar which we had a wonderful time at. He is a VERY fast walker though!

Thank you

As relatively newly arrived residents we wanted to learn more about our new home as well as entertain a friend visiting from England. This tour delivered in spades. Our guide, Kerena, was engaging, knowledgeable and passionate about the social, economic and political history of the city, as well as the architecture and the people who shaped the Belfast we see today. Her narrative was balanced and entertaining, and her enthusiasm was infectious. If you want to get under the skin of this fascinating city, try this tour. A very worthwhile couple of hours, and great value for money, too. I’m looking forward to joining their ‘Historic Pub Tour’ when we have visitors again next month.

On a wet and windy Saturday my partner and I were at a loose end . I suggested this tour of our capital city.
Happy Days ! This is an excellent way to spend a couple of hours being educated and entertained.
Our guide was Kerena who arrived early and chatted easily while the others ,who had booked online ,arrived.Kerena is clearly a “people “ person and is made for the job .

From The City Hall via RBAI ,The Ulster Reform Club ,a socialist bookshop , The George Best Hotel, and a political mural of the exploitation of the people by politicians ,to name but a few ,we had an excellent overview of Belfast past, present and future .

Kerena easily rattled off facts and dates while weaving stories filled with historical characters about the birth of the city , Victorian entrepreneurs and industrialists ,United Irishmen and much more into an accessible and very entertaining tour .

An additional layer to Kerena’s tour is her up to date knowledge on the very best Belfast pubs, clubs and restaurants on offer and once you meet her you’ll trust her choices as she is clearly a bon viveur .

Strongly recommended.

Really enjoyed the Walking Tours Belfast event on Saturday afternoon which was led by Kerena Crowne who has a wonderful way of expressing the history of the monuments and the main attractions. I found out the history behind some of the statues in the grounds of the City Hall. One Memorial I had not heard of before was the Pirrie Memorial (he was the Managing Directior of Harland and Wolff and Lord Mayor of Belfast between 1896 and 1898). Kerena’s style was very engaging and entertaining and near the end of the tour we visited The Friend at Hand Whiskey Shop, Hill Street. I confess I had never been in the shop before and I was amazed to find it has a mini museum charting the whiskey distilling history of Belfast. We ended up at the Big Fish and I would highly recommend the tour to anyone who is interested in the history of Belfast and its iconic buildings. The weather was wet and windy but Kerena’s energy and enthusiasm helped us to forget the cold and enjoy the sights and sounds of Belfast on a typical Saturday afternoon.
