Such a great day! We cannot believe how much Michael managed to show us in 6 hours - from a beautiful waterfall hike to the Giant's Causeway to the Dark Hedges (plus a couple photo ops and a fortifying tea break too). Michael was informative, funny, knowledgeable and passionate. Knowing we were tight on time and might miss them otherwise, he even made a detour on our way into town to show us one of Belfast's intriguing Peace Walls. We loved the local snacks too. Highly recommended - if we were in Northern Ireland for longer we would definitely have booked a second day with him. Thanks again, Caz + Kat

Mick gave us a really incite full tour of all the murals and the peace wall in Belfast explaining in depth about the history of every bit of the conflicts within the time we had on the tour. Great to be told the story by someone who has actually lived through things first hand. Mick didn’t miss anything out and made sure we understood the full story from both perspectives.
Great price and prompt service fitting around our day.

Mick was the best tour guide I’ve had - we had two days with Mick and I couldn’t recommend him highly enough. He had so many facts and stories to tell and was so interesting. We could never have learnt as much if we toured by ourselves. Mick made our trip to Belfast such a memorable experience. If you want a five star tour - contact him.

Look no further. Mick is the best of the best. Picked up 6 ladies from Dublin, then gave us a tour of Belfast city on day one. Saw Peace Wall, murals, IRA museum, local neighborhoods and local pub for lunch. On second day went to Carn Lough (saw where Arya Stark crawled out of the harbor in ‘Bravos’) Cushendun Caves (saw sites where Ser Davos helped Melisandre give birth in the caves) , Giants Causeway, Carrick-a-Rede bridge, Dark Hedges (!!!), Glenariff Forest Park and along the North Coast Road.
Mick share so much knowledge of the area and took us to places we didn’t expect, but became highlights of our tour! He also made sandwiches for us so we didn’t have to spend time grabbing lunch. Went above and beyond what one would expect. I wouldn’t tour with anyone else! He even had a surprise for us at the Dark Hedges when the ‘Ice King’ came out! And he has props for us to get into the spirit of GoT. Only 2 of us were fans, but all 6 enjoyed the beauty of every location we visited. Exceptional!

Michael Smith was one of the best tour guides we have had. We had booked our trip through Belfast Tours NI and Michael was our driver guide fir two different days. One day was from our hotel in Belfast up the coast to Giants Causeway, etc. the last day was a trip south from Belfast, dropping us off at our hotel in Dublin. He is extremely knowledgeable and wanted to make sure we had a wonderful experience. We did.

Mick took my Mam and I to see the peace wall and the murals (inc Shankill Road) before dropping us off at Crumlin Road Gaol. It was easily the best thing we did during our stay in Belfast. He was, funny, knowledgable and extremely professional. Having someone who had grown up in the area and could explain how the divide had effected people’s lives was the next level up from a regular tour. We even rang him again to get him to drop us at the airport! Thanks Mick - give him a bell whenever you’re in Belfast!

A party of 4 and our first time in Belfast we decided to book Mick for this tour.
His knowledge on the subject was immense.
We were driven around various sites in Belfast that were connected to the troubles and given an informative and unbiased view.
We were very impressed with Mick he was so professional and such a nice guy.

We ditched our tour from the cruise ship and opted for a private tour with this company-and couldn’t have gotten luckier! Mike’s got a great personality, and incredible knowledge of history and events, growing up locally. Everywhere we went, he could point something out, answer any question, we saw so much in the timeframe we had, equivalent to 3 separate tours. We saw incredible spots along the coast, lots of photo stops, Game on Thrones spots, Giants’ Causeway, too many to list. The price was an incredible deal, and no waiting for others to get on/off a bus! Don’t miss this chance.

It was a fantastic day to Giant's Causeway and Bushmills.
Michael is a delight to work with and a true professional. He was flexible to include a few necessary stops and cater to me as I had an injury.
Michael managed to keep us informed and entertained from our tour of Bushmills to the Giant's Causeway. Michael was patient, knowledgeable, funny and a delight to have as our tour guide.
We loved that Micheal had water and the beloved local snacks ready for us.
I highly recommended Michael for any tour in Northern Ireland and booked him the next day (separate review).

To say that Mick was the best decision of our week in both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, would be a gross understatement. By chance, he was referred to us by an Uber driver. He has great respect among that community and it was assured that he would take care of us. That he did. He customized a full 8 hour day based on our conversation. It was spectacular and very reasonably priced for all that we did and the miles that we covered. It was beyond my greatest expectation.
In fact, we enjoyed him so much, that we hired him again for another custom trip south to Dublin via the Passageway Tombs. To our surprise, he added a few other stops before we ever left Belfast. I returned home completely satisfied in gaining so much knowledge of NI and Ireland. We saw areas of both that we would have not been able to see otherwise.
He shared his passion, his heart and his knowledge to ensure we gained a wide perspective of history. And, when he found out my Goddaughter was also a major Game of Thrones fan, he added even more stops to her thrill.
Early 60s gal and mid 20s gal felt completely safe in his care. Quite frankly, I am not sure why anyone would go to Northern Ireland and not hire Mick to share it with them. Again, he was our best investment. Make him your first contact and then book hotels, make plans, etc. He will guide you through what you want to do!
In fact, I plan on doing just that for my next trip back!
