We where on a three day holiday to Belfast and one of the first pub's we visited was an historic old pub called Kelly's Cellars. This is a superb pub that opened in 1720 and its a must go destination in my opinion.
Housed in a superb white painted building that look's amazing'the interior is what you would think an Irish pub would look like. The floor is stoned and there are many fixture's and feature's relating to Ireland. Its as cosy as can be and when we went here early on in the afternoon it was very busy.
When we visited here we had a few glasses of Guinness which were excellent and for a pub of this quality they were well priced. It's a superb pub and was one of the best that me and my twin brother visited and it's well worth going to.(This is my first review of the Kelly's Cellars).

My husband and I were wandering around the streets of Belfast one afternoon during our visit there and spotted this pub down a quiet alley. The day was overcast and a bit chilly, so the inside of the pub was jammed with patrons. There was a table for 2 outside, so we sat there and enjoyed an afternoon Guinness. Despite the day being a bit cold, the vibe was warm.

Although I've been to Ireland many times over many years this was my first time visiting Belfast, a city steeped in history and teeming with pubs, bars, cafe's and restaurants, one of the best pubs my twin brother and I visited was Kelly's Cellars and what a great time we had.
One of Irelands oldest pubs ,opened in the 1720's ,interior is superb, a great looking serving bar dominates the main room, wonderful eclectic decor and furnishings and plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and bustling streets around this pub, its just a totally wonderful pub to chill out in .
We were here on a Saturday night, pub was busy with a great atmosphere, we ordered a guinness each, these were poured in the correct manner even allowing time for the all important settle, we chilled out and soaked up the great vibe in this busy and popular pub while we sipped our guinness.
My guinness was absolutely superb, thick, creamy and bursting with taste and very easy to drink especially when served freezing cold as in this pub, it was just so good being in such a lovely pub enjoying a quality brew and sat with my twin brother, best beer companion in the world.
We both really enjoyed our guinness in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting for a first time visit to Kelly's Cellars we had a great time.
Kelly's Cellars is easy to locate along Bank Street.
Opening hours are;
Monday to Saturday, 11.30am till 1am.
Sunday, 1pm till 12.30am.
Well worth checking out if you're in the area.

We had researched before heading to Belfast for the weekend and this place was high on recommendations. We loved it ! Afternoons there was a traditional band playing and later on the live music outside had everyone in the streets dancing . Good atmosphere and very very busy despite the mixes weather . Near some good street art and a decent kebab take out .

We were recommended this bar by our taxi driver and it was fantastic. We were there on a Wednesday afternoon and there was live music and as it was nice we sat outside. The atmosphere was so good and joyful. The place was extremely busy but the bar staff were amazingly quick at serving and all very friendly. So pleased we found it

We experienced our first Belfast Guinness here. Neither the Guinness nor the surroundings did disappoint!

Chap playing Lily Allen songs with an Irish twist helped to make a very enjoyable evening with my clan.

Lovely ambience and history on the walls ... and breathing room only ... showed the pub is very much a busy, thriving and enjoyable place to visit - for all age groups - over 18 obvs!!

This was more like it, if you want an authentic Irish atmosphere and a good craic, this is the place. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a smile. It’s like stepping back in time, in a good way. Locals mingle with visitors at the bar, around tables and in the beer garden out the front. No screens on the wall and nobody on their phones.

There’s a variety of spirits, wines, ales and beers on offer. At 5:30pm I was too late for food! It had run out, apparently one big batch is cooked then when that runs out, that’s your lot! Two pints of Guinness I had here whilst I sat at the bar people watching. A great pub and staff are very friendly and welcoming.

The pub was full of people and good humour! Good traditional beers, a tavern atmosphere to dance until the end of the night, a terrace to prolong the party. Kelly's Cellar keeps its promises to drink Guiness or something.

It is a must go place where you can find nice live Irish performance, delicious stew and pint of real Guinness!
Very crowded but worth to visit and enjoy your holiday beside native people.
Everything is colorful and full of life over there. Incredible atmosphere where you can recharge your liveliness.
Highly recommended!
