Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I took my granddaughter to see rapunzel pantomime. I have to say the show was fantastic, she had a great time.
The popcorn 🍿 overpriced and soft drink. seeing adults drinking alcohol at a children's pantomime was surprising to me. The light up toys where £6.oo bit expensive as well.
In all she enjoyed herself .

I never review concerts or venues but credit were credit is due. 5 obnoxious guys sat in front of us at the Jim Eoin gig last night and from the second they sat down everyone around them knew they were going to be disruptive. Completely drunk and carrying on like they were at their local bar. Fortunately these brain dead idiots never know how to conduct themselves in public and started to swear, make sectarian comments and vape! It was the vaping that got the attendants attention and they were removed after the warm up act. I have been to other venues where this would have been allowed to continue for alot longer before having to be dealt with. A particular well done to the young lady in red glasses (sorry we didn’t get your name) she was firm and didn’t let them away with their behaviour. A credit to the Waterfront staff.

Terrible customer service. Have had several bad experiences in the past and it never seems to get better. Miles behind not only other venues in other cities but also Belfast other theatres.

First time at the Waterfront (I know it’s been here for years) and it was great. Really excellent views from all the seats that I could see and certainly where I was in the stalls. Staff were great, friendly and helpful and the show was fantastic, helped I suppose because it was personal to the NHS & frontline workers. Well done a credit to Belfast.

I attended an exhibition which was part of a large annual conference here recently which ran over four days. I was very impressed with both the venue and the staff. I found everybody unusually friendly and helpful. For example, I was carrying a wheeled briefcase and was helpfully redirected to the lifts, rather than the escalator by the kind lady in the lobby. That was a lot easier.
Food in the exhibition was provided by the in-house contractors, so was slightly overpriced, but it was of excellent quality. My only gripe is that there isn't much more to do in the immediate vicinity. There are some spactacular riverside views and vast pedestrian area surrounding the venue, which is great for walking, but sadly not much in the way of restaurants or bars. It was particularly noticeable in the mornings where there were few options for breakfast, unless you are prepared to venture off-campus, in which case there are the usual coffee and sandwich chains a short walk away. But that is not the venue's fault, I know.
Parking is an issue if you are attending on multiple days, as I was. The closest car park is a short walk away, opposite the Hilton hotel, which adjoins the venue, and that was close to £20 per day over an 7-9 hour period. Again, I understand the venue probably has no control over that.
Overall, it was a positive visit and I would highly recommend anybody visiting Belfast to check it out, if not just for the interesting sculptures and art installations dotted about the campus (see pictures).

The most awful night of my life . Looked forward for years to see Dr Hook and had great seat (as I thought ) . Crowd of unruly drunks directly in front of me made it impossible to see any of the show and waterfront staff had no control over them so it was a waste of my hard earned money. When I approached a member of staff to complain they said no way to control them . God knows what would have happened if trouble had broken out . Couple of young staff spent most of the night telling people not to use phones . Why they sell alcohol to already drunk people to bring into auditorium and spill round is a mystery. AVOID THE WATERFRONT IN BELFAST IF YOU WANT TO SEE A SHOW

Nice open and spacious, close to the rail and coach station. The whole place was spotlessly clean with plenty of staff both cleaning and ushering. Several drink/food outlets on each level. The seats are comfortable and the sound carrys well.

Contemplating my first visit and booking tickets for Lord Of The Dance... limited tickets left. Do I book tickets to sit two rows from the back or select the limited tickets at the back right on the first or second tier??

The tiers are good and the view is unrestricted so all seating works!

Are front row seats best?
Waterfront Hall
Belfast, UK
Hi Colin, Front Row seats will get you closest to the stage but you can get a good view of the stage from anywhere within the Main Auditorium. If you call our Box Office team on 028 9033 4455 they can take you through the seating plan in detail. Hope this helps.

Hi - Block A, Row 2 will be very close to the front. You can view a seating plan and 360 view of the Main Auditorium on our website.

The sound at the back of the Hall is poor
Best to pick somewhere on ground floor close to the middle
