We spent 2 afternoons enjoying the museum....particularly the art collection (great introduction to Lavery's work) and the history section. Gave good background to The Troubles, ideal for outsiders like us! Good lunches also enjoyed in the popular cafe.

I specially went to see the Troubles exhibit. The troubles exhibit wasn’t anything special. It was hard to follow the time line and many organisations went referred by their acronyms or abbreviations.

I am regular visitor of this museum. Every section offers something special and interesting - could spend hours here - especially in the art section. Ulster Museum is great in providing equal space for young local artists and world known names. Brilliant! Expositions are laid...More

Just the fact that it's a free museum with great exhibitions is enough reason to love it! In a city where it rains almost daily (except through rare heatwaves, like right now) it's a pleasure to be able to do something interesting and worth your...More

Every part of this museum is worth spending time at. Interactive exhibits for children. Dinosaurs. Fashion and Feminism. Industry. Game of Thrones Tapestry. History of the "troubles". Good restaurant too. Too good to miss and it's free!

Great place to visit, on a rainy day, but even in the sun- a walk in botanic gardens next to the museum is a must! Always great interactive tasks for the kids, and very helpful staff. Kids love the art workshop!

The museum is free and very interesting to look round. To do the place justice, we should have spent longer! The Game of Thrones tapestry is amazing and worth going for this alone!

Hello, 90 minutes would give you enough time to have an overview of the Museum and also explore some of the art, history or nature galleries in more detail. I hope that you enjoy your visit.
