Wow is the best word I can think of to describe this tour. Mark was our guide, and he was responsive and diligent from the time we booked the tour. He picked us up at The AC and gave us a great perspective as we began our tour. We visited many of the murals, memorials and points of interest on both sides of the wall. We learned so much more than I ever expected about this ongoing division of thoughts and minds. In the end we visited the Peace Wall where were all invited to leave an inscription. Mark was the best guide, and I would Highly recommend his tour.

We used NI Black Taxi tours for a full day tour of Giants Causeway and Bushmills Distillery. Georgy O was our guide and he was great. Knowledgable, courteous, funny, and safe. We spent 8 hours with him on a Giants tour originating in Belfast. Would highly recommend.

Jim was a great guide. He was informative, friendly and fun. Picked us up on time and showed us all of the significant places on both sides of the wall. Spent time really explaining what it was like living through these times. He even dropped us off after the tour where we wanted to be dropped. Highly recommend this tour and Jim.

Thanks for the tour yesterday .We found it eye opening to say the least. Informative ?oh yes .Interesting ?very much so He showed us so much and told us so much without becoming boring.Plenty of stop offs with time to take photographs of the excellent murals
Our driver was very professional in his approach to his job. Rightly or wrongly I was trying to work out which side of the divide that he came from(As I have a foot in both camps coming from a mixed marriage with an Irish Grandparent) and he was so good in keeping his personal opinions to himself, difficult with this subject matter it was not until the end of the tour could I work it out.
Well done that man ( he did tell us his name)
No glorification on either side , he told us like it was/is
Looking forward to going on this again next year ,cannot recommend this tour enough

This was a great way to understand the history of the city in a personalised setting. Our tour guide Robert was very knowledgeable about the local history and troubles having lived here all his life and the tour gave us a nicely balanced sense of the community and history of Ireland. Definitely worth doing.

I had booked this tour well in advance for myself and my partner. Communication with Mark was good throughout.
I have read many books and seen many documentaries on the troubles whereas my partner had very little interest or knowledge.
Both of us came away from the tour having learnt a lot from Marks knowledge, personal experience and willingness to engage with our questions. My partner came away from the tour intrigued to hear more which is testament to Mark but also the eye opening stops on the tour.
I thoroughly recommend this tour and can say that you will learn a lot from Mark. Having some knowledge of the troubles I can assure that Mark was very balanced in his commentary which is key for a tour of this nature. Superb

Our driver, Robert was fantastic. He was concise, insightful and interesting. Robert have us a fantastic insight in to the Troubles and kept a difficult subject as light as possible. He remained unbiased throughout but still told us how the conflict had impacted him and his family. As someone who knew little about the Troubles before it was a really great way to learn more about the history and culture of Belfast and see parts of the city that tourists wouldn’t normally see.

Mark did an amazing job of describing the conflict, never using terms like "us" and "them." He is so knowledgeable and was able to delve deeply into how this conflict started and how it has effected the Belfast community for decades. This is a worthwhile excursion for any visit to Belfast.

Robert’s tour was extremely comprehensive and unbiased. He was able to explain everything to my 16 year old Aussie kids so they could understand and he gave us as much time as we needed for photos and looking around the history of the troubles. Highly recommended!

A friend and I drove from Dublin to Belfast specifically to do this tour and we were not disappointed. Mark is a gentleman to say the least and hugely knowledgeable on the times that occured and that are happening in Belfast.
I couldn't recommend this more and to support a business like this is what it's all about. Hard working, honest and above all fascinating. Go speak to Mark and organise this staycation during these weird times we are living in and you will not be disappointed.
I feel other reviews here claiming bias or a skewed view on the tour are unjustified entirely but each to their own. I don't know what people are expecting, it was everything and more. Just because you may or may not agree does not take away from the facts and the man himself is born and raised in the Northern capital, what more could you ask for. He's lived through it all first hand.

We did the taxi tour in the morning and he dropped us off at the Titanic museum which we toured in the afternoon. We booked the taxi tour thru our hotel and it was very reasonable

Do you have to book well in advance for the Black Cab Tour? I'm not sure what time to book because of my flight times.

We booked around 9:30am to be picked up at 12:30pm! I'm guessing in busier times they may not be able to accommodate but they were very flexible on this occasion.

If you are in a group, the cost gets split, I went by myself and it was around 40 pounds. Well worth the cost, the driver was very knowledgeable and there is no other way to really do the tour, too far to drive and the bigger buses will not go into the different areas.
