About
Open every day from the 17th of March until 4th of November 2018. We are not just a farm but a fantastic family experience with many opportunities for children and parents to learn and play together. Our staff are always on hand to make sure you and your family have a fantastic day out and we all hope to see you soon! We try to make sure that the kids get a real hands on experience with our animals, letting them handle and feed them with our staff. We also have many different play areas for the kids to make sure they have as much fun as possible. We opened our new farm themed Play Village last year, this state of the art play center encourages children to learn and develop through role play. It is super fun and includes a milking parlour, farm shop and and vet's clinic to name a few. This year we have new alpacas and free tractor and barrel rides for everyone! Families typically spend around 3 hours with us and students are very welcome! Our pups are a big hit!

A great place to visit!
Jul 2021
We absolutely love this place! The kids are still talking about it and cannot wait to return - the staff are very friendly especially Stacey who involved our little ones in all the activities! She is so bubbly and fun and a real asset to the place! There was a staff member who was over with the puppies and seemed he wanted to keep them all to himself my little ones absolutely loved the barrel rides and the go karts! Things are being added all the time! Definitely recommended!

A fantastic family day out. Our two girls (6&3) loved it and us big kids were also blown away by how enjoyable it was. Still laughing at the sheep race!! Lovely staff and very clean. All the animals look really healthy and well cared for.

Good for young families
Jun 2021 • Family
Well organised with lots of hand washing stations. Staff had a great attitude. All seemed well trained, friendly and sone were doing very challenging hands on work which can’t have been easy yet kept a smile on their faces.
Animal welfare seems to have been considered which is good since I have been disappointed not to have seen that at other open farms.
Food available onsite but also lots of picnic tables if you’d prefer to pack your own.
Has a changing area for babies and this area has chairs for breastfeeding mums if you choose to use the quiet space.
There are barrel and tractor rides, opportunities to feed and pet animals and play area with slide etc.
Gift shop available on the way out and a milk service as they sell nom homogenised milk with a variety of syrups. Only downside is these all contain artificial sweeteners or I would have purchased.
Good day out for family & hope to visit again over the summer.

Streamvale Farm Birthday Party
Jun 2021 • Friends
Streamvale Farm is excellent! Just home from an amazing afternoon celebrating my daughters 7th birthday. Super party room, enthusiastic and helpful staff and lots of activity which was well timetabled. Cuddle time with the rabbits was the favourite with the kiddies but for me it was the Alpacas! Can’t recommend it enough. Thanks to all the team and the of course the animals! X

Nothing for vegetarians available.
Jul 2021 • Family
Great wee day at Stream vale open farm. Our time went so quickly we were unable to fit everything in. Staff all very helpful and knowledgeable. However, my daughter who is a vegetarian found it hard to get anything to eat. The one vegan offer sausage roll had sold out, at 1pm. Asking for a salad she was told they don't offer salad, she ended up having a dry bap with some cheese on it. A 'farm' and they don't offer salad. Will bring our own next time. Not catering for all needs.

Fun at the farm.....and the pods !!
Jun 2021 • Family
Spent a good 4 hours at the farm with the kids recently. Staff were all friendly. Got to feed some animals and take a tractor ride. Some of the facilities could do with an upgrade of equipment though (the kids play area). Plenty of hand washing facilities. My son loved the Canon shooting area. After the farm we stayed in the Pods for a night. This was a really fun experience for all of us. The hot tub was ready to go...only thing was there were a lot of tiny little flies in the water. We tried scooping most out. We had ordered the BBQ pack and were told it would be delivered at 5pm. At 5.45pm there was still no sign and with 2 starving kids we rang to see what the story was. It was delivered at 6pm. The food was really good. Pods were well kitted out with the essentials of fridge, kettle and toaster. Lots of hot water in the taps which was good. Overall we really enjoyed the experience and will be back :)

Amazing
Jun 2021 • Friends
Visited Streamvale Open Farm today for the first time with my mum. Absolutely loved everything about it. From the stunning scenery, to the beautiful animals, chick's, rabbits, mice, birds, cows, horse, sheep and of course the amazing Chase the border collie, we love him, he also wowed us doing his agility course. Mum also got to bottle feed one of the wee lambs which she loved. The staff were great too, friendly and very helpful. Looking forward to going back soon ❤

Have went here a few times, halloween usually, but have went again recently - lots to do, and very good value for money for the kids. Recommended by them as they always ask to go!

family day out
May 2021
really enjoyed the farm, the staff were very friendly and helpful you can just relax and walk from attraction to attraction and enjoy yourself its a must if you have young children felt the place is geared more towards young families, the hand washing and hygiene going on all the time was excellent esp with touching animals and co-vid19. found the shop wasn't staffed when we arrived so had to leave, really enjoyed the tractor ride to feed the dears and the lamb's bottle feed

Rip off Burger Barn
May 2021 • Family
Don’t often write reviews unless I feel like I need to say something and I need to tell parents to bring your own lunch and snacks. It cost a family of 3 over £18 to eat here and the food was below average. The reason overall score was brought up was due to farm and farm staff. Kids meal was a bag of chips and 1 sausage in a bag with small drink, no ice cream came with the meal. My husband had a burger which was as basic as it comes and I had a sausage bap with no butter which was very dry. We also had a Coke Zero however we ordered a coke and a bottle of water. Do not know who is in charge of pricing however ripping parents off in this way is not acceptable. Please do check out the price of a chip butty, shocking!!! The farm itself was nice and farm staff extremely friendly. I do feel that cuddle corner needs something more than a bunny in it though especially in times of having to queue. Overall though main message is bring your own food please.
