We brought our 3 year old to W5 on Wednesday 16th August. I had been there many years ago with my older daughter and loved the place. This time round unfortunately the visit was not a good experience. W5 itself and its activities are just...More

A huge number of exhibits, all very interactive. My 4 y/o daughter had a great time. My 15 y/o son wasn't as excited, but found activities. A downside is that the opportunity to learn science is largely missed. Most exhibits show scientific principles, but there's...More

On the whole great day out. There are lots is interactive attractions for kids of al ages and the climbing structure is a big hit. The new play zone costs extra and is not worth it. When we were there a summer scheme of much...More

A well-travelled friend (ex BP Engineer) highly recommended W5 in Belfast, stating in her view it was "The best kids attraction in the British Isles". So I took three girls aged 12, 11 and 9 on a five hour round trip from South of Dublin...More

We easily spent a whole day here, from 10-5, me and the kids (aged 9 and 11). There's enough to keep them occupied that long - we took in a 'Big bang' demonstration lecture, and there's a soft play area they can also book in...More

I would say the optimal age for W5 is from 4 upwards, however still lots for an 18 month old to enjoy (but you will need to be hands-on and helping them). The layout of the floors is excellent, plenty of room to run... More

Both are good but I would say spend most of your day at W5 it's more fun for kids than the Titanic exhibit. It also might be a bit much to do both in the same day, they are both big places to get round.
