I love this place. Not a poor quality lager to be seen, friendliest staff you'll find anywhere really. On this particular occasion I was at a pub quiz (for the Young Humanists NI) but myself and a chum weighed up a bit early to grab...More

The Sunflower is without compare in the city centre and has taken on the mantle of being the only bar which truly caters for beer geeks in the area and stocking the best selection of beer. It's an oasis amongst all the samey bars serving...More

The Sunflower Bar on Union Street is the best little treasure in Belfast. Centrally located, it has an amazing selection of craft beers and ciders, the atmosphere is warm and relaxing and they have a pizza oven in the beer garden!!

It's the best bar in Belfast. Great selection of craft beer, friendly staff, lots of cool stuff happening on a nightly basis and the crowd is eclectic, weird and wonderful but always friendly and welcoming. The beer garden is huge and has fab pizza, too....More

Dear sunflower bar. I was in your bar last night, Sunday 6 April and was shocked by the attitude of the bar staff on duty.      I regularly go to the sunflower and I'm a big fan of the bar. I'm really not the type...More

If you're in Belfast go to the Sunflower. Simple as. It's one of those genuinely cool pubs. It's not trying to be cool, it just is. It has a brilliant selection of craft beers (this place gave up the mainstream brands a while back) and...More

The airbnb we were staying at was right across the street from the Sunflower Pub. After a long day, we decided to stop in for a drink. It's a small cozy spot and we enjoyed sitting and listening to the live music. We went again...More

Don’t let the entrance put you off. With a security cage at the front door reminiscent of darker times in Belfast’s history, please don’t let this put you off stepping inside. The trad session on a Saturday night in this small pub pulls a large...More

Great beer and great staff. The beer garden is the crowning glory, it has its own outdoor pizza kitchen! Regular live folk and open Mic sessions and much more. One of Belfast's hidden gems.
