Had been looking forward to going on this tour but the overall experience was just disappointing. Don't get me wrong - there were some interesting facts - but the whole delivery could have been much, much better. I suspect our guide (Chip) was learning on the job and I will make allowance for that but his commentary was disjointed and at times inaccurate. It actually appeared at one stage that others on the bus knew more about Van Morrison's home locale than he did. It didn't help that it was also a very warm day in Belfast on our tour! I think the 15 seater coach could have benefited from air conditioning or at least opening windows in the rear. Overall it was average but just could have been so, so much better!…

Very relaxed, friendly atmosphere in this terrific venue in the Cathedral Quarter area. With lots of local music memorabilia this place is worth a visit even when there are no gigs playing. We were local enough to have experienced the excellent Alejandro Escovedo there last night. The venue is informal and we were made feel very welcome from we arrived until a staff member asked us if we enjoyed the show as we left. A hidden gem in Belfast well worth a visit. …

Great tone had by all on the music bus tour. Guide was knowledgeable and kept the crowd amused. Interesting and informative. The centre serves coffee and snacks and a place to sit and chat.

A great hub for music and the arts, community groups and culture-makers. There are regular gigs here with a wide variety of local and touring acts. There are great facilities for musicians and small businesses including rehearsal space, office space, Start Together Recording Studio, Moosetronix Mastering and more. There is also a small exhibition about the history of music in Belfast/NI focusing on the punk/rock scene of the 70s/80s up to present day. There are plenty of events - check out their listings online when you're heading to Belfast and make sure to stop in to catch a gig/talk/rave/etc!…
