About
We're the MAC, Belfast's new arts venue. We select, create and mix up music, theatre, dance and art - bringing you the very best of local and international talent, all under one roof. Our world-class building is situated in the heart of Belfast's bustling Cathedral Quarter, right behind Saint Anne's Cathedral. We are home to international art exhibitions, the very best in live theatre, experimental works and all manner of weird and wonderful goings-on. One visit and you'll discover that the MAC has something for all ages and interests. We hope you love our building as much as we do.

We have been here before just for coffee, but today I ordered a cheese and tomato toastie, along with a coffee. It was served promptly and to my surprise and delight accompanied with a delicious green salad. It was all truly delicious. We will most certainly be calling again, after our next appointment in Belfast. There is a very warm and welcoming atmosphere in the MAC, and all the staff are very pleasant.

We went to Chitty chitty bang bang..what a wonderful day out. Very impressed with the quality of the show. The Mac is warm and inviting, plenty of seats,very clean toilets. Would highly recommend!!

The MAC is brilliant, all round. The Staff were friendly, helpful. It's clean, well decorated, modern with great toilet facilities. Food is delicious and Coffee was tasty. Highly recommend even just popping to have a look although they do put on interesting shows, art galleries and events for children.

We were at the mac yesterday as a group of 24 one of our group had a mobility scooter and they were able to scoot right in and down the corridor to the the stalls we were treated like royalty and sgd had her own wee helper Michael who was amazing the girls at the desk and the bar were also great beautiful clean reception area and the lady on stage well she was something else maggy muff we will definitely be back to the mac again soon thank you and then after the matinee we went for a bite to eat at the mandarin buffet same there really accommodating of the people with additional

Excellent craic at Emer Maguire comedy gig. Poignant at times too. Musically gifted rhymes and ditty have the wordsmith characteristics of Victoria Wood; lyrics focused on everyday life sometimes a little smutty when appropriate and using awkward stories to surprise and abuse.
Great handling of material, had us in the palm of her hand, well rehearsed yet spontaneous!. One to watch. I'll definitely be following.

Great little venue with wonderful friendly staff. Attended for an acoustic Villagers gig who was incredible as ever, and couldn’t think of a better venue to experience it.
Venue is in the middle of the beautiful cathedral quarter of Belfast, right next door to the blossoming Ulster University city campus. We will definitely be returning for future events.

Mac is a lovely cosy theatre, staff all very friendly, nice cafe and bar. We went to see Lockdown DLA .... What a show! Hilarious! 🤣😂 Good luck guys!
