The views are breathtaking and there are a choice of walks, but if going to the summit, beware it is a long trek. Good sturdy footwear is a necessity and I was glad of the bottles of water and snacks we took along with us, although there is a quaint cafe. Check the weather before going, as we got caught... Stunning views of Belfast and beyond, Great for exercising or just a casual stroll to take in the views, on a good day you can see as far as Newcastle and even Scotland.

Most of the places you go in Belfast, if there is an open space you would see the Black Mountain at western horizon of the Belfast city. The scenic beauty of the town increases due to the very existence of this mountain. Either from the buses or from the trains you would see this popular travel attraction. On the other... More

THE place to go on a sunny day for the perfect vies over Belfast. The walk will brush away any cobwebs and efforts are rewarded with stunning views that will make you take out your phone and snap photos!

Had a little walk up the Divis and Black Mountain. A great way to blow away the cobwebs. A lovely track that leads to stunning views over Belfast and beyond. On a good day you can see every county in Norn Iron, Scotland and the Lake District. Only 15 mins from the City centre.

Views on one side to the Mourne Mountains and the surrounding countryside, one view looks up North to the wind turbines and countryside and then on the other side there is... More

Great destination for long/short walks with panoramic views of Belfast City. Can sometimes have mucky path with farm traffic but well worth the visit!

Close to Belfast and yet feels so wild. There's an easy walking trail which takes in a view of Lough Neagh and goes up to the summit. The scenery is open with fantastic views of Belfast. Sheep and horses graze the grass. There's a free car park on the road up or a Nation Trust one off to the right... More
