What a welcome to Belfast - offensive to anyone with eyes. Such a shame something more visual appealing could greet those entering the city..

This isn’t the sort of place you visit and stand around. It’s in the middle of a roundabout. Saying that, it looks great lit up at night and makes a good picture. Divided opinion about the use of tax payers money to build this. If...More

The balls on the falls as I believe it’s locally known is a large imposing sculpture that welcomes travellers along the motor way into Belfast. Living in the Republic of Ireland and travelling north regularly with kids they have now become accustomed to seeing this...More

We took in this when we were on the hop on hop off bus tour and an interesting piece of engineering it is too.

A total waste of money by Belfast City Council. A dull uninteresting hunk of painted metal. Seriously, I wouldn't bother if I was you.

This is a beautiful bit of sculpture at night when lit up, and has definitely become a bit of a landmark for those entering Belfast.

While impressive to view during the day it doesn't compare to the glorious shine beneath the dark nights sky. You can see it from the highway but I suggest taking a brief detour to behold it's glory properly.
