To be honest, I have walked past this monument several times without really noticing it, until I read about it in "Belfast in you Pocket". It was commissioned by Ulsterbus, and John Kindness created it in 1989. He also did the "Big Fish" at Donegall...More

I love this artwork. It is gone, removed from Great Victoria Street bus station. There's just a whole lot of nothing where it used to be. I miss it, it was a humourous work that referenced all the places the buses could take you. Maybe...More

I may be biased as I LOVE mosaic work, and this 3 dimensional mosaic covered sculpture of a Waterfall reminds me so much of going to Barcelona, as it is very Gaudi-esque, in my humble opinion. Similar in style to Belfast's Big Fish!

The sculpture Bigfish, by the Lagan, seems to be a straightforward celebration of all things Belfast. This artwork, by the same maker, may do the same - or maybe not. It takes the shape of a waterfall that plunges in steps down from the high...More

A novelty and curiosity that gets me to stop and look at, and shake my head, when going to & from the airport bus, and if early for the bus a good way to pass the time. Is it public art or a novelty -...More

I like this very much, I think it is very interesting. Most people just walk past it without noticing! I like to walk around it and really look at the different things written on it and the mosaic of objects pressed into it. A lot...More
