Having lived in Belfast for over 60 years I had never visited this old church. That was changed yesterday when I called into the church. There was free literature available in the reception which gave clear information on its history and the main features inside...More

I've worshipped here a few times and enjoyed a warm welcome. There's a strong musical tradition to enjoy although the vast majority of the congregation have had a bus pass for quite a while. Décor is typical Anglo-Catholic- colourful and meaningful but restrained.

We happened to walk into this small church in Belfast and were greeted by volunteers who shared all they knew about the church which dates back hundreds of years. The church is not gaudy or full of gold and silver but rather simple and peaceful...More

We visited St George's on a summer evening for a classical concert. It is a beautiful church with impressive stained glass windows as well as other notable features.

I popped in to see this wonderful church and was quite impressed. It was built in 1816 at the meeting point of the rivers Lagan and Farset. It's seen dark days. The stained glass windows are superb.

I was passing, and noticed the place was open. I called in, curious to see what lay inside that very impressive portico. There are fabulous stained glass windows inside. The people there were very welcoming. Services happen Sunday 8.30am, 10.00am, 11.00am and 5pm. Tuesdays to...More

This is a a nice church about 1 block from the Albert Memorial Clock. I'm not sure I would go out of my way to see it, but since it is so conveniently located, it is worth a quick visit.

My wife and I went to the church because of its history. Specifically during the troubles. We spent about 30 minutes at the church. We recommend that you have a book or get some information on the history of the church so that you can...More
