Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It's a steep drive down and up a narrow lane to Murlough Bay but the views and tranquility are totally worth it. The scenery is always changing, especially when there are rock falls and changes to the road you walk along from the small parking area at the bottom.
Deer, ducks, dolphins, seals, various birds and lots of flowers might all be seen.
Please respect the area and leave it as you would want to find it.

Just the drive there is so fun - it seems you will keep going down into the sea! Once there it is a great hike. Beautiful. Saw no one else.

Fantastic weekend excursion up on the North Coast at Fair Head near Ballycastle town. If you are a big fan of getting outside in the fresh air, admiring spectacular views, hiking up and down hills and getting your heart pumping, then I highly recommend visiting Fair Head. Great views of Ballycastle, Rathlin Island, Scotland (On a clear day), lots of different walking trails of varying levels, little spots where you can sit and relax or even have a picnic and it gets you out exercising for at least a couple of hours. Recommend going on a Sunday so you can avoid paying for the car park and pick a dry and not so breezy day when you do visit.

£3 parking (in a farm yard!!)

Walk down the road & turn right over the style for Fairhead.

Do not walk over across the cattle grid, it’s leads to a farm which is private property.

Just stunning. Views amazing. You can only get to the bottom of Murlough bay car park by only car and not by bus as the road is to slim etc. If you want to and have a good steady driving hand go down to the very bottom and walk past the cottage along the rock pathway for even more views of Torr Head and take a pic of Scotland.

Worth the drive down the hairy scary road to a stunningly, beautiful location. Game of Thrones film location. Very quiet. You will love it!

We walked round Fairhead and thoroughly enjoyed the fabulous scenery. The cliffs are dramatic and the inland lakes make a great contrast.
