A tour-de-force of art that glorifies God. beautiful and has a feeling of holiness. Make sure that you stop by their gift shop for really memorable souvenirs like Connaught marble rosaries.

Absolutely beautiful inside and out. I feel like this particular church is often overlooked. We happen to be driving by, noticed it, and decided to visit. I'm so glad we did. It is fabulous!

Tranquility & Reflection at yet another iconic Irish church at the heart of Irish Christendom - on the hill that was the site of the 'original' 'snakes out of Ireland' St Patrick's own early church. The hilltops are shared between two St Patrick's churches - one Catholic, one Church of Ireland - both equally stunning. A great place to get... More

Beautiful Cathedral, well documented history. Locals brought us to see it. Sorry to say we could have been better prepared, there was a lot to see and read.

Fantastic to visit and photograph before the worshippers arrive. Ashamed to say my first visit but this must be one of the top ten buildings to see in Ireland. Very impressive and an interesting story as to why it was sighted here. See the information as you come through the gates. Beautiful place to visit.

What an incredible building. Massive. We didn't go inside because it was Sunday and services were on. Out of respect we stayed outside the gates. The structure is formidable a top a tiered green hill. The architecture is stunning. Grounds are stunning. Happy we stopped by. It's a true testament to the money in the Catholic Church.

Although the "newer" by centuries of the two St. Patrick's Cathedrals in Armagh the Catholic is no-less stunning in its beauty. Would definitely concur with other reviews that the stained glass windows were beautiful.

After visiting the CofI cathedral in Armagh, we went to the most impressive RC (again, St Patrick's) cathedral. Sited on a hill like the other, not surrounded by other buildings and reached by a huge stone stairway this demands a visit. Though not so old as the Anglican one, it makes up in scale and interior finish. Great place for... More

A stunning neo-Gothic masterpiece. Beautiful stained glass windows, and mosaics. Enjoy the carved reredos behind the high altar. Impressive but not overbearing.
