Beautiful building, lovely well informed staff. Well worth a visit if you’re into history. Great gift shop and a very nice restaurant

This a nice facility In the heart of Downpatrick. Lower level consists of retail store but a nice cafe upstairs. Very close to the wonderful prison museum and the cathedral.

Fantastic place to visit especially at Christmas when the grotto is there. But they also have beautiful jewellery at amazing prices. Would definitely recommend it.

You have to buy a ticket, but I did it see any tour guide. The centre is very multimedia so not any need for a guide.

Hi - yes you can either get the train to Belfast Europa (2 hours) and catch a bus from that station to Downpatrick (50 mins leaving every hour) or get a bus to Newry and connect to Downpatrick. This takes about 3 hrs. The... More
