Definitely not a top place to eat more like tuffbeef that roast beef Yorkshire pudding the size of the plate through on a roast chicken dinner. Staff not at all friendly definitely won't be back

Was here for one of the charity quiz nights, the pub looks welcoming on the outside and is kind of welcoming on the inside but I have to admit the seating in the pub isn't the best for those with bad backs. The ice put in the drinks made the drinks taste weird. Not sure if I will return.

A great traditional bar with a modern feel. Great booze, great staff and great craic. Loyal following great customers.

Really nice traditional pub with good selection of local beer and cider on tap. Brilliant selection of gins in nice surrounding in front bar.

We were staying in Newcastle to visit family and friends and came across this bar when were exploring early in our visit. The bar is located not far from Donnard Park down a side street. When you approach the bar you cannot miss what appears to be several bullet holes in a glass window next to the front doors. You feel like querying the reason for the holes but are put off by the unfriendliness and abruptness of the bar staff. We ordered a bar snack but wish we had not as the food was poor quality and presentation was poor and was not very warm. On a positive note - Yes they have big TV Screens.....
