John gave a nice walk of the town and wall. It wasn't long but it was a good way to start our stay. It's a small city and you see "all" of it from the wall and talk. We subsequently went down to walk the...More

We found the tour to be excellent value for money (£4) and very interesting. Not only did our guide explain about the historical sites but he also added his own experiences to the information which helped us to understand more about Derry's past. Of note,...More

This walking tour is a terrific way to learn about the history of Derry. Both the 1689 siege and the "troubles" including Bloody Sunday. The tour includes parts of the city wall with views of the divided housing, the cathedral and a stop at the...More

We rarely do organised city walking tours preferring to explore on our own however we are so glad that we made an exception in this case. John, our guide, clearly had a passion for & a pride in Derry. He brought the history of Derry...More

What a lovely way to see the city of Derry! Garvin's passion and knowledge made the experience so much more enjoyable. Plus he knows everyone in the city. What a gem!

Our tour guide was John and we thoroughly enjoyed our walking tour. Most of the things of importance in Londonderry are in walking distance and we would definitely recommend doing this walking tour.

What a pleasure to take a tour with someone that knows half the town and has personal recollection of the events. There are always multiple sides to history and he was fair, interesting and fun.

This walking tour is great. No need to book just arrive at 11 Carlisle Road. Our guide Sorcha provided a concise and clear history of Belfast. Lasts about 1 hour 19 minutes, with not too much walking. All of the tour takes place inside the...More

There is no need to precook the tour. Just show up. They run every 2 hours (at 10, 12, 2, and 4). Meet at 11 Carlisle Road which is right outside of the Foyleside Shopping mall. You will love it. Enjoy!
