We came across this Gate when walking through Derry looking for another attraction. It is a very good structure but very busy with traffic at the time we were there. Not a must see but interesting to those interested in the history of Derry.

This gate was one of the easiest to walk through. Some of the others had only one opening and it was tricky with traffic. But this one is quite large and full of history.

We loved each and every gate in town since every gate has there own mini history lesson. Really worthwhile to see them all.

Intact gate dating to mid 1800's. Original goes back to mid 1600's. One of many stops on foot in Derry city.
