Not the largest park, but well laid out with several walkways and play areas for kids. A small stream runs down the center of the park which leads to the main kids play park with slides, swings and roundabouts etc. Follow the path a bit further and another play area with rope slides and climbing logs. One walk can take... More

A must see if you're visiting for a couple of days, never turn down the opportunity for a walk in St. Columbus Park on a beautiful evening or a crisp early morning. Also the home of the Foyle Arena leisure centre and playing fields there is lots of energy about the place. If you're in the city centre then take... More

This is a fun park with plenty to do. There are 2 main play areas (both fairly close to each other) one for young families with small kids and one bigger playing park for slightly older kids 8-16. There are also lengthy cycle/running tracks around the whole park. Also a fully kitted out activity centre (Doyle Arena) with car parking... More

Just what a city park should be. A haven away from the crowds and a feeling that you could be a million miles away. Okay, so there are no crowds in Derry, it's not so big but the park nonetheless offers a respite from traffic and anonymous shopping centres. So accessible with lots of paths and quiet spots. Great for... More

The park is fantastic for a stroll or a proper walk, including when you have a dog. There are two play parks, one for young children and one for older children. Football pitches and tennis courts are also available. There are public toilets also available. It is located within walking distance of the town and coffee shops!

We had a really relaxing time walking in this lovely and well set out park. Lots of walking trails available and so near to the main part of Derry via the Peace bridge. Very safe and secure to walk in as well,.
