There is a lovely walkway along the edge of this river that you can easily follow along for a scenic walk. The views of the river from the Peace Bridge are also very beautiful.

Fabulous views from the Peace bridge which leads over to the Ebrington barracks where the British Army had their headquarters

Derry is on the Foyle and has a number of bridges across it as well as a really nice long walkway along it by the quayside or the city park by the train track. The boat trip is another way to view the city.

This is a nice big river with pleasant walks and views. Take a walk over the peace Bridge to get a different view of this beautiful city.

They told us one side was Protesrtant and one side Catholic.Various bridges cross including a walking bridge. My husband walked on one side, across a bridge, other side, across another bridge. No scary situations either side.

There's a nice footpath along the river. Be sure to cross over the Peace Bridge to get great views of both sides of the city.

I really enjoyed walking along the banks of the broad River Foyle. The footpath is flat. It's a great place from which to view Derry, and the river itself is beautiful.

There is a lovely flat footpath alongside the Foyle used by many for walking, running and cycling on. A lovely friendly feel on this walk.
