have been to derry/londonerry a couple of times and find it a great place. People are friendly and there is alot of history, it's easy to get around and most attractions, points of interest are in walking distance.

I walked the walls by myself and found it very easy and interesting. Lots of information and stops/city views along the way. The streets inside the walls are well worth seeing with lots of interesting specialist shops and buildings.
