If you like history you'll love the walk around the walls to see the splendid city and peel off from time to time to see other great sites such as the Guildhall with its fascinating exhibition on the plantation and more.

Great to see that most of this is still intact despite many years of conflict. The city is steeped in history and has finally awoken to the potential of tourism. Good shopping as well!

We had a wonderful guide who walked us throughout all of the walled area and then by bus we visited the wall and was offered to write on it which we did.
