Take the time to walk along the walls of Derry - especially with a guide. It is a fascinating insight into the turbulent past of this beautiful city.

Derry is a cooI city with lots of history that I did not realize before I visited . Every day I would spend time exploring the small, yet fascinating area with it's murals and the story the murals told.

Walked the walls twice - once in the evening - then again the next morning with a guide. Both were enjoyable - cold, windy, and a bit wet - but enjoyable. A must do!

Our guide, Seamus, explained the Troubles and the rebuilding of Derry since peace was established. The wall itself was incredible and the city must be commended for maintaining it.
