This tour is a must if you are in Northern Ireland. Our group of eight toured the Bogside with Paul and the City Walls with George. They both offer realistic and lived historical accounts of the local area. Paul carefully directed our group through the tragic events of Bloody Sunday yet made sure to keep it light with good humour.... More

My partner and I took this tour on our recent visit to Derry (24th April 2017). We met our guide Paul outside the Guildhall, and after a brief talk we proceeded into the Bogside. Paul was a very knowledgable and informative guide with a great sense of humour with a very personal connection to the events of Bloody Sunday (His... More

George was our tour guide and he was fantastic, a real wealth of knowledge. The Bogside History Tour tells a very difficult and at times harrowing story, but it is one which needs to be told. The tour was so engaging and George was passionate in his delivery of the facts and giving us a little insight into life in... More

Yes we should!!!! We took a taxi tour of Derry and it was excellent from start to finish. Our driver Neil, who the Maldron hotel had arranged for us, from the outset was fantastic and took his time bringing us from the historic founding of the city right up to the present day. Nothing was too much hassle for Neil... More

This is a very personal and engaged tour, extremely enlightning and filled with anecdotes, side stories, delivered by a local... More
