The part we found moving is that they asked school children to contribute to this memorial and made their contributions part of it. They see things so much more simply.

We only had a chance for a quick peek at this monument, but one can truly appreciate what it stands for. The Peace Flame is protected in a simple, but lovely monument with paths and landscaping around and the Peace Bridge visible in the background....More

This spot too is a must when in Derry. There is nothing better than a message of peace and hope even if it is hard to obtain. Worth it.
