The Aquarium is brilliant for kids to visit. They can learn about the history of the Foyle river system and the life cycles of our salmon and trout. There are free posters for the kids showing all the types of fish in the sea.

Hi. Thanks for the lovely review. We appreciate you taking the time to do that. :D

Very small and poor area to see the fish (and also very few of them, I think there are less than ten tanks in only one room). Not worthy if you come to see the city.

We went and were there for about half an hour. Tanks very small for poor fish and crabs. Some tanks didn't have the name of the fish on them so we didn't know what we were looking at. Videos were interesting but couldn't hear very...More

Small, but if you visit at feeding time, you will get a lovely demonstration where children can learn about and touch crabs, lobster and starfish. Feeding is fun. Informative guide. Great with kids.

Thanks for the lovely feedback. Our public feeding times usually only take place during the summer. However, they can be arranged for visiting groups if requested in advance.

Located just outside Derry parking is easily available outside. The sign is easy to miss which we did. Entry was free and the staff very friendly. There was a very limited number of tanks and fish/ marine life to 'sea' (haha!). Where the aquarium excels...More

We had a great time here, the aquarium is small but the animals were really easy to see and the kids especially liked 'the grumpy lobster'. It was great to have a nice day our between showers and it was totally free. Definitely recommend it!

The Aquarium is really well laid out and seems very well equipped for school students to come in and learn a lot. As adults we found the centre small but what it did have it did very well. There are some lovely tanks with fish...More
