Great wee pub. Small but the craic is good and plenty of socialist minded stuff on the walls! Music on Saturday night was a little loud - most people seemed to be involved in conversation and that is what I prefer too.

It’s a nice bar, but the staff ignore you if you’re not a regular. Literally stand there for 10/15 minutes before your acknowledged.

I so don’t get it. Yes I’ve had some great nights in Sandino’s but it seems so over rated. A few prints of of Che aren’t enough. It is a decent enough bar and good for a couple of drinks. The toilet is vile,... cold...More

I make a point of visiting Sandino’s any time I’m back in Derry. Friendly, welcoming bar with great live music. My only complaint is that the men’s toilets often smell unpleasant.

The staff are openly rude to people that aren't their friends. They particularly hate younger people. The men's toilets release a pungent smell of urine. The bar is aesthetically pleasing; pity the owners aren't nice & quite frankly are prejudice & only happily cater to...More

Sandino's continues to be the main place for the 30 plus crowd. More often than not there'll be music of some kind playing and a bit of dancing going on as the night progresses and the drink takes effect. Seems to be as many people...More

This is an interesting pub which is steeped in various political histories. That aside, I loved the décor, found plenty to make me reach for Google to read up on and the selection of craft beer was pretty good. Staff were friendly and there was...More

If you're not a local, forget about it. The venue caters to the alternative, it's not main stream and that's fair enough. But if you don't fit it's demographic, honestly, you're not welcome. Been there enough to know. Staff can be rude and happy enough...More
