Always love this. It has a bit of derry with a bohemian feel. The stout is lovely. Love all the artwork and paraphernalia. There is great global music played and very colourful people frequent it. It's snug and warm and the bar staff are very friendly.

This bar is very unique and I think once you have been inside once you never forget it. It contains lots of history and you really have to go to get the feel of it. It's the kind of bar that anyone from 18 to 80 can go, gay, straight and everyone in between without anyone even batting an eyelid... More

I stopped in for a drink after this pub was recommended to me from some fellow travelers while in Dublin. They contested a laid back vibe and that's what I got. Nice place with good tunes. Worth checking out.

wonderful bar, with a great eclectic feel to it...manages to be seriously cool without being the remotest bit pretentious. Mixed crowd, sure, a few trendies, but regular working men, locals / shoppers / office workers / mother earth... lol, hey, a bit of everything and all the better for it. easy relaxed atmosphere, good choice of beers, wonderful décor. always... Came here on a bank holiday afternoon, the town was a bit quiet and we can't find a attracted place to dine. We decided to have a drink and coffee before we got on train. This bar has a very different decor, with full of posters and photos on the wall. Some of them I can recognize already and some... More

Sandino's is always busy and has a really nice alternative vibe. Great decor and a great atmosphere. It's a breath of fresh air compared to the very same-y vibe that most of the bars in Derry have. Also, the crowd is usually pretty cool. Would definitely recommend on a Friday/Saturday night!
