Welcome to top-rated and award-winning Aberdeenshire Tours where you will arrive as a guest and leave as a friend. I am a born and bred Scot and proud to run my small local company specialising in private, customised day tours, taking you to the places YOU want to see. You will be collected from and returned to your local accommodation. Happy to show visitors the amazing north east of Scotland where there are more castles than anywhere else in the UK, some of the most famous whisky distilleries in the world, around 100 ancient stone circles, beautiful beaches, superb scenery and wonderful wildlife. I take great pride in my personal service and flexibility and am delighted with the wonderful reviews I have received. I look forward to welcoming new visitors and providing a first class service.

What a wonderful way to spend the day being curried about by Elizabeth and her sweet pup, Hamish! She is knowledgeable and has a great sense of humor. My daughter wanted to see seals/beaches and I wanted to see castles. Elizabeth delivered both and a wonderful lunch at Delgatie Castle. I highly recommend!

I had a wonderful tour with Elizabeth and Hamish last Sunday, and if you are considering doing a tour in this area, then I would definitely recommend her! I wish I could make her average review rate increase even more with this review, but she already has a solid 5 stars so unfortunately that's impossible. :) But those 5 stars are very well deserved!!! I will definitely come back next year and book another tour with her.

Elizabeth was a fantastic tour organizer and guide, with a great sense of humour.
She kept in touch with us before we arrived in Aberdeen, picked us up from our cruise ship dock, had already done some research and talked to some locals, so was able to take us around to homes and work places in Oldmeldrum where our ancestors had lived and worked. She also organized a local distillery tour and tasting, we enjoyed some local favourite spots and sites, including Fyvie Castle and a set of standing stones, and had an excellent pub lunch in the middle of it all. A full day. very well spent! Thanks again Elizabeth!

My husband and I had a wonderful day tour with Elizabeth. She was extremely personable, informative and flexible. Elizabeth was very focused on providing us with the best experience possible. We first went to Dunnottar Castle and then drove through the scenic Royal Deeside valley where we visited both Balmoral Castle and the Royal Lochnagar Whiskey Distillery. The scenery was fantastic and the experience unforgettable. We highly recommend Aberdeenshire Tours and Elizabeth to anyone planning to visit Scotland.

Our day with Elizabeth and her sweet dog, was absolutely wonderful. She filled our day with castles, beautiful gardens and a very interesting distillery tour. Elizabeth planned our time out perfectly, to fit everything in to one special day. It's always nice to be on a private tour, that can cater to you and your party. Thanks for a memorable day! Elizabeth arranged a very special 80th birthday tour for my father and family taking in a personalised blending experience and tour at the Strathisla distillery, the Speyside cooperage, lunch at the Mash Tun whisky bar finishing off with flying a Lanner falcon at the Huntly falconry centre.
Elizabeth is a witty and interesting guide whose company, conversation and knowledge of the area my father really enjoyed throughout the day.
She kept the tour on schedule, knowing when and how to move things on to ensure we were on time. Even the Scottish weather conspiring to drench us all at the Falconry centre proved to be part of the fun. It was an outstanding day and a fabulous present for my father. Highly recommended

My and my familly went to Scotland in August and went to a tour with Elizabeth around the Aberdeen area. It was so fantastic to be with her and see all the amazing places we went to see with her. She’s a very special lady and she no so much about the area. This tour was everything we wanted. Thanks Elizabeth to making everything perfect for us. We hope to seeing you soon,you are amazing.

Elizabeth is a great tour guide and very knowledgeable about the area, her tour was the best i've ever been on and i would recommend to anyone to definitely try it out. We basically made an itinerary of what we wanted to see and she was happy to accommodate. 10 out of 10 I'd come back just for the tour alone.

It was our first time to Scotland and Elizabeth made our trip the most memorable trip, ever!! She ensured that we saw the best castles, ate the most delicious food and enjoyed the amazing sights! Elizabeth added last minute stops to make sure Rachel saw Highland Cows and that we all made it to Mass on time! We originally booked two days , but were so pleased that we booked her for a third day! If you want to make memories in Scotland, than Elizabeth is your person!! We invited her to Texas for a visit , but it might be too hot in Houston for her!

What is the scope of the tour, time involved, cost, etc.

We can do any type of tour you would like. Just tell us what you want to see and we'll plan a great day for you. The prices are on the website - £200 for 1-2 people / £230 for three £260 for four. For this you get sole use of a 4x4 vehicle with a driver/guide for up to 8 hours. This means we can stop any number of times to takes photographs or mix things up a bit, should you wish. You don't get that on bigger, organised set tours. Basically, you decide what you want and for how long.
