Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Visited the distillery yesterday. We had a great time. Both Alan and Dan were very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about their gin and local history. I was driving so I got a lemonade but was given a miniature in stead of the welcoming drink.
The selection of gins was great and we were told how they make it.
Thanks Alan and Dan for a great time

We had an amazing time. We learned a great deal about gin from Allan and Don, and we even got to make our own gin from scratch with assistance from Allan and Don. They had over 100 botanicals from which to choose and the owners assisted with how flavors might mix. A great way to spend the day.

My husband and I visited as part of a guided tour around the Aberdeen area; this was one of our stops. We had a great time! Alan and Dan were great hosts, we learned about their journey to build the business and tasted some amazing gin that they had created. My favorite was Thyme for Rosemary and my husband’s was the bramble gin. They do a great job engaging the group, answering questions and creating understanding around creating craft gin. Highly recommend and would definitely go back and visit them again.

Hands Down my husband and I had the best time. First of all the gin they make is amazing. I didn't know much about gin but I came out of the experience feeling like I know quite a bit! With the owners guidance they helped us make our own gin and it turned out awesome! Such a fun and unique experience by far the best thing we did in Aberdeen!

Alan & Dan we’re great hosts, very knowledgeable and helpful. We did the gin school experience with lots of tastings and then made our own custom gin to take away.
