Not only is the history of Aberdeen Barbour covered but it has very comprehensive off-shore drilling exhibits. Clean and well presented.

Not being a keen maritime museum visitor i was really surprised by how much there was to see. Having people on hand that are well versed on the contents makes this even more appealling. Could happily have spent more time here.

Plenty to see. 3 floors of displays, old and newer, 3D movie, hands-on activities. Well worth a visit.

Free entry to the museum, lots of memorabilia from early ship building days. Very interesting insight into oil and gas mining from the off shore rigs.

I keep meaning to go back here as I visited the museum as part of an evening event during a Conference. That evening was still a good way to see the Museum. Really interesting Maritime history. Great displays. Will definitely be going back!

The ship models are certainly one of the strong points of this museum, although it has a good number of other virtues. I also really liked the multi-level drilling platform model, the architecture, and the sheer variety of the exhibits.
