Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Unexpectedly lovely beach . Great atmosphere for teens . Lots of flavours of ice cream and good fish and chips. Family orientated .

The last time I visited the sea front at Aberdeen there were nought but sea views with the numerous boats coming in or going out from Aberdeen harbour.
Now however there is an array of none global friendly toxic produced windmills blotting the sea vista which all looks quite ugly. It’s hardly surprising that the city has become somewhat shabby since it’s rapid decline from being the Oil capital of the U.K.

In July, good weather, and the beach was deserted apart from a couple of dog walkers. Very windy though. Looks great. Swimming in the North sea might be a bit of an put-off! Plenty of benches to sit on.

The beach is a sandy one, with very few people around mid-week. Perfect for little ones with buckets and spades!

The sand itself on the beach looked clean and the coast was a pretty view but the whole area around it was painful to look at, grey dull buildings all closed and shut up.

I love visiting Aberdeen beach when in the local area. You can walk for miles and watching the waves is always so peaceful and enjoyable. I was pleasantly surprised to find that there were free toilets open at the beach for it being late January too which can be uncommon at this time of the year. It's worthy of taking a walk along here if visiting and I can only imagine how lovely it would be in the height of summer.

Took our five year old Grand-Daughter to the beach to build a sandcastle. Good beach and lots to do alongside the boardwalk.

Amble along the sand and you might get lucky and see porpoises like I did yesterday. Plenty of places to grab a coffee, listen to the waves and watch the world go by. SO lucky to have the Sea so close to the city, best of both worlds and just 10 minutes on the bus.

The beach itself isn't anything to write home about, it has large wooden groynes and largely disappears at high tide.

The more interesting end is the south end with various food and coffee vans and the interesting houses, cottages and streets of Footdee.

The central area gives off vibes of a tired British seaside resort that has seen better days with closed fairgrounds etc.

I love visiting the beach, it is so clean and the cafes offer a variety of food at varying prices. It is always a pleasure.
