Worth visiting the greenhouses. Poor car parking arrangements. The car park by the river was full of cars yet the park was quiet! Nice Victorian park with ponds and walkways. It even has an original bandstand and boating pond.

We went as the weather was horrible and needed shelter. Ended up being a great morning looking at all the different plants from all over the world. Well kept and tidy, will go back again when we have more time.

These gardens are quite spectacular, following an extensive recent refurbishment, Apart from the external gardens there is an award winning and very extensive enclosed winter garden and an also recently extensively refurbished cafe. All visitors to Aberdeen should see this.

There are benches to sit on to admire the various plants. Kids love throwing coins into the pond to feed the toad
