Aberdeen Science Centre, formally Satrosphere, is Scotland's first science and discovery centre. Originally opened in 1988 we have been engaging people with science for over 21 years. Our interactive, hands-on exhibits and live science shows help our visitors discover more about the world around them and the science of how things work. The Tramsheds Coffee House has been outsourced to Hudsons Catering, serving fresh coffee and homemade cakes daily A visit to Aberdeen Science Centre is not to be missed.

A lot of interesting stuff in this place, both for adults and kids. Very informative. Different shows, at different hours. Staff are friendly, especially with kids. A must to see if in the area.

We recently took our 3 year old Granddaughter along for an afternoon. We managed to spend 3 hours, including lunch, and she was still playing with exhibits as we were leaving. Most of the attractions were aimed at much older children and she got bored...More

Brilliant place for children of all ages lots of space, great interactive displays for the little ones and more informative presentations for older children. A great place to go on a wet day, we stayed all afternoon and children thoroughly enjoyed their visit.

The first time I’ve been to the science centre Stratosphere, I found it very interesting. It was really busy with kids due to the Easter holidays. Great place for all ages to visit & learn about projects.
