Situated in the beach area of Aberdeen the science Centre is a great trip for younger children. Reasonable onsite parking, with additional parking nearby. Website a good source of what’s on! Great cafe and small souvenir shop onsite too !

Today made use of our ASC passports bought for the kids as a Christmas present. The center has a brightly light open plan set up. Staff are very friendly and great with the kids. Interactive science demos. Today we dug for dinosaurs and made an...More

I took my two boys aged 8 and 6 to the Aberdeen science center at their request. When we arrived we were greeted by a chap who despite being welcoming looked like he didn't want to be there. The entry fee was minimal (50p each)...More

We visited the Science Centre with our grandson and he enjoyed going round the exhibits. The existing Centre is quite old and tired. Look forward to the opening of the new premises with new equipment. Staff seem a little disinterested and hope the move will...More

Two grandsons visited with parents and two grandparents. The kids thoroughly enjoyed it - highlights were making slime (lovely and messy) and looking at rocks (especially the magnifying glasses availability and a couple of fossils). Rest of the displays were interesting to them - the...More

Save your money. The whole thing is dumbed-down, apparently run by staff who are just taking their wages but with zero interest in the subject. It wasn't even dry inside - the roof leaked. Exhibits weren't maintained. I was embarrassed to have inflicted a visit...More
