What a lovely park

Went for a walk here to break up a long journey and what a lovely place. Wide open spaces, very clean - no dog poo lying around - and suitable for all ages

This is a fantastic park with beautiful gardens excellent green houses loads of open space with a boating pond. The city's Shire horses are stabled here and the cafe is spotless with excellent choice of food. Location is just a very short distance from Union Street the main shopping area in the city. Should not be missed if visiting Aberdeen

All sorts of things going on. Look out for the calander of events. In the summer a showing of a London 'big event' could be worth an evening in the park. in the day time /find the squirrels? Hope they are all RED. we have tried hard to eliminate the GREYS. Golf on the edge of the park? Maybe. Enjoy.

Had a nice, quite picnic lunch in the park. There were ppl walking their dogs, jogging or generally enjoying a nice stroll. Everyone we met was friendly. The park is maintained very well, it is lush and huge and very peaceful. The Winter Gardens are a free plus to the park, we walked through them as well and found them... More

Very nice place for all ages, especially you can see many varieties of plants. I love the flowers and coll breezes. If you having kids it the best place that they roam. Atleast it requires two to three days to see the park.

This lovely park sits beside the river Dee in Aberdeen and has had a make over recently thanks to the Heritage Lottery Fund. The park covers a wide area and is excellent for children, they have their own play area with an array of climbing frames swings and chutes. There is a little boating pond and during the summer there... More

There are two huge slides right by the car-park that our two loved (they're a little big now!). We loved them too, all that energy burned off making sleep easy :-) !! However, there is sooo much more to this park, you really need to go look, from boating lakes in season, to orienteering, big open green spaces for ball-games,... More

The park has quite an expanse for kids to play, there is also a play area for them too. Within the park there is a wonderful winter garden full of plants from different parts of the world, it is not huge (compared to the one we visited at Longwood U S A ) but never-the -less it is usually full... Lovely safe park for a Sunday stroll good for kids learning on bikes or just to get out for fresh air, near a retail park for the shopaholics!
