Rainy day when I went but still a quiet place in the city. Lots of placards with information on how current medical products were/are derived from various plants. Some of the plants were labeled and there was a nice handout on the way in the explained the various parts of the garden.

Visited here at the same time as visiting St Machar’s Cathedral. The grounds are nicely laid out however, I felt the gardens were a little unkempt compared to many other gardens. Nevertheless, it would still be a lovely place to have a seat and a sandwich in the summer.

peaceful garden designed to give people a quiet and relaxing place to sit and enjoy the plants. large lawn area, many different types of plant and trees, and a formal rose garden as well
