Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great hidden gem golf course. I booked online and asked to get paired up with a member to learn the lay out of the course and they were able to do so. There are some interesting changes in elevations and a rustic river view on the edge of the property. Course was still quite playable even in after winter condition. Definitely a great experience.

A fantastic day of golf, great welcoming staff, a very friendly guy in the pro shop, a fantastic course in great condition. My group could not fault a single thing and for many of us it is the best golf course we have played this year. all factors considered, Will definitely be back again. Keep up the good work Peterculter staff!

Try out the automatic golf ball tee-up at the driving range. Golf course may be very weat and partial flooded during periods with a lot of rain. But club house is fine.

Thank you very much for your positive feedback. However, as we do not have a driving range, I feel that you may be confusing us with another facility.
If you are still in the area, why don't you come along to play our golf course and then you can leave a review. Our contact details are on this page so please get in touch with us.
Many thanks.

Able to play two rounds during current visit. Course in excellent condition. Players know the game, play ready golf, and all we met were welcoming. Our rounds were 3:15 and 3:30 hours. There are breathtaking views with some of the most scenic elevated tees I have seen. Not to be missed when you vist the Aberdeen area!

Firstly, consider that this course is relatively young, only around 30 years old, and 6 years old in some parts, then ask yourself how such a course can look so mature.
Built on 3 levels along the River Dee, with some spectacular views (particularly the 9th Tee and 16th Green) this is a very fair but tough course. Bunkers in strategic places, out of bounds along most holes to catch wayward strikes, ditches and burns.... this course has it all - Fantastically well maintained, it is an absolute joy to play.
A day ticket is between £50 and £60 depending on which day you go..... suggest going midweek and having two rounds - give yourself 3 1/2 hrs to get round, and and hour for a relaxing lunch in the clubhouse which is comfortable and welcoming. The menu on the day I was there was top notch.... didn't know what to choose that day! Pasta certainly helped for my second round!
The locker room is more than adequate and has good wash/shower facilities.
Anyone coming to the area and intending golfing along Royal Deeside should start here

Great course, challenging enough for the more experienced golfer but equally enjoyable for higher handicappers, suitable for all levels with a good mix of short and long holes. Scenery is fantastic.
The greens and fairways are well maintained. Dean and Ross are very knowledgeable and helpful in the pro shop, and Audrey and the rest of the staff in the Clubhouse are very friendly - food is good and cheap, and quality local beers are always available.
Highly recommended.
