While in Aberdeen we went here for lunch . Menu was very varied with plenty of daily specials. Value for money was very good. Orders are taken at the till and you give your table number . Food then served to your table . Was reasonably quick with generous helpings . It got busy very quickly which I suppose is... More

The drinks and food is quick and cheap. There also is lovely seating downstairs that's great for a business lunch out or a stag/hen party starter. The place is clean and is on Belmont street so you are guaranteed to have a great night no matter if you start or finish your night from this bar.

We were heading elsewhere when we spotted the 2 steaks plus a bottle of wine for £20 offer. So we went in. We were not disappointed. The staff were friendly and the architecture was impressive . Cosy atmosphere. Food was tasty and very good value. Portion sizes good too. The wine went down well. While we were there the Pub... More

Standard bar on Belmont street which automatically makes it popular. As bars go it's pretty uninspiring though my friend insists they pour good pints (I'm not a beer drinker). In my opinion there are better bars in the area.

Don't bother... Barmaid didn't want to serve us in first place. Breakfast arrived eventually toast barely toasted tattie scone raw. Lorne sausage like rubber beans tepid.. When I retuned breakfast I was asked if I wanted anything else so I asked for another drink thinking I wouldn't be charged as an apology.. No such luck I was charged for drink!!... More

Aberdeen city centre is not renowned for its eating places. It's a challenge finding somewhere decent for lunch: everywhere has massive queues between 12.30 -2pm for mediocre eating joints. But one oasis in this desert is The Wild Boar. It's a pub with great pub food essentially. It's a lovely space: bare stone walls, large mirrors, wall mounted flat screens... More

Needs refurbishing and food is mediocre. Prosecco is good value though ! Good atmosphere, music can be repetitive thumpy background noise , mixture of clientele ages .
