I'm not into guitars much, even though writing/recording/gigging with them is my choice of antennae to download the spirits melodies. In fact, I don't really like them much at all. I Also have the geek level of minus 5 and I do have a partner so they form no part of my bedroom gymnastics. Add on to that the attention span of father Dougal, I need someone to just quickly tell me what to do, turn my dreaming ideas into reality and let me go my way. Ramsay seems to have an amazing knack for this, no bull, just sound advice and incredibly helpful. I've bought bits and pieces plus an 2nd hand amp and tried out guitars all very easy and relaxing. I'd assume they wouldn't rip off anyone and will rely on giving everyone sound advice and customer service. Long may they flourish. Is that 300 words now?? By the way I really do hate guitars....

The title of this review really says it all. Having only been in a couple of times both visits were great this is the only music store in Aberdeen that ISN'T staffed by a team of self entitled pretentious hipsters. I went in to find some music theory books and check out there digital piano selection and couldn't have been happier with the service I received, I managed to have a great talk with the guys there and they helped me find exactly what I was looking for, I even got a free coffee after buying my book! For too long music stores have been one of the most condescending places to shop and this used to be exemplified perfectly by the former Bruce Miller's. I truly hope more music stores take note of iiMusic and what they're doing in terms of business because with far superior pricing and selection available on line these days music shops really cannot afford to alienate their customers or put themselves on a pedestal. iiMusic, you guys are doing a great job and with competetive pricing and great customer service I hope anyone in the city looking for advice, products or even just a browse of musical equipmentc considers this place. Keep it up.

I only needed to buy some strings so not a massive sale for the shop. Saying that the staff were incredibly helpful, took the time to go over my options and reasonably priced. Highly recommend to any musician as there's plenty for everyone.
