Amazing shop stuffed full of the quirky, the long lost and the downright bizarre. Well worth a visit. You can also catch the Pend at various vintage events. Keep your eyes peeled!

The Pend Emporium is an amazing place to visit, particularly for tourists as this offers the opportunity to take home a truly unique treasures, as you never know what is waiting to be found. Neil, whom runs the Emporium is a jolly and welcoming man and a real character and visiting the shop is always fun. The shop is situated away from the noise of the main street and with a pub a couple of doors along, which is always a bonus on a hot summers day

This is the second time we have visited the antique shop. Both times whilst visiting Forfar...both times on a mission to get a couple of things....and both times not dissapointed. It's cramed full so you need time to look around. Everything from furniture, jewellery, glassware and pottery. Retro and antique. This time we were looking for a Denby casserole dish and a bread bin and managed to get both. Worth a visit, if you can find it tucked down the Pend from the juntion of High st. & Castle st.

The Pend Emporium on Osnaburg Street - run by Neil who has a personality as big as his stature - is tucked neatly away from the humdrum of the main drag, on a quaint little cobbled road. It's a perfect setting for this wonderful wee shop which is stocked ceiling to floor with all manner of things from antiques and collectables to curios, books and everyday household items. My previous purchases include an enormous 1950s rug, a vintage poster and some garden planters set with paperweights. Unique items of excellent quality and all at bargain prices. It is, without doubt, the finest little shop in all of Forfar!
