Played the Medal course on 2nd November, sunny calm day. Front 9 very interesting, back 9 slightly less so but altogether a very enjoyable and good course. Sandwich in Royal Montrose club house afterwards, staff welcoming. Well worth a visit.

I am afraid that dogs are not allowed on the course with a golfing party. But as this is not a private course - a non- playing spectator can walk a dog on a lead.

if you're staying over search for Golf Deals in Montrose. We got a 2 night deal in one of the hotels including 3 rounds of Golf, 2 here & 1 at Broomfield for £149 ... basically the golf worked out free at this course.
