Stopped off here last Saturday with my wife whilst we were having a drive around the local area. We were not quite sure what to expect, but I think we were expecting something a bit better, and better laid out than what we saw here....More

Stopped in to look for small garden gate. Found a tall one which lady allowed us to cut on site for our purpose. Loads of interesting items to be found.

This reclamation yard is packed with junk and a few over priced nice items. Some of it is stored in sheds but it is packed so high you cannot see it and is dangerous to try. Nothing is priced so if you do find something...More

There are sometimes things worth buying that are hidden away, but majority is just rubbish and the place is a bit hazardous lots of loose knifes and broken glass

This place is just a disorganised mess of junk. There is possibly one or two items of value here, but finding it amid all the rubbish is just impossible and it will probably be damp and ruined anyway. Everything outside - including electrical items -...More

This reclamation yard is packed with other people's junk. Some of it is stored in sheds packed upto the ceilings, other items are left outside and have suffered from the weather. A great place if you are renovating a house or love a good rummage,...More

The only blip in our weekend break to Montrose was when we decided to visit Steptoe's Yard. Situated about two miles out of town, the drive there was very pleasant, but this would prove to be the only thing. After wandering around the sheds which...More

The place is stuffed to the gunnels with all kinds of things. The phrase one mans junk is another mans treasure is very true. ! Absolutely loads of pottery glassware pictures etc etc. Worth spending an hour and having a rummage
