A lovely moderate walk for the day when you have time but not enough time for a big walk. Lovely loop around Glasdrum and in a lovely day some beautiful views too!

This place is tiny compared to others and though ok it will take no more than an hour to walk round. It's like they thought oh we have not had a brown sign for a few miles but v little money to make it interesting...More

Ok, it's a walk in the woods but on poor paths and with not a lot to see. A few miles up the road at Duror there's better walks, free maps of the routes, nature hides and a loo!

This is a good starting place for chequered skippers. From the car park take the track to the fork, take the left track and follow the way leave below the electricity pylons. Als o good for small pearl bordered fritillaries. Parts are steep
