All staff were wonderful and very helpful. The live actors in the museum were also well informed and interacted well. I would recommend this to anyone visiting Inveraray or places close by.

We loved our visit to the Inveraray Jail. It was so interesting to see how the prison was all those years ago. We especially enjoyed the commentary of the guides. This is a must see when visiting Inveraray.

A really great way to spend a couple of hours. Advise visitors to use the audio guides (supplied free) as it gives lots of additional info. Great representation of the judicial system from years ago. We are far too lenient these days! Really helpful staff....More

Lots to see and mull over. The information is well presented in audio with plenty of visual displays. The jail is a fascinating place as are some of the prisoner's stories.

What a great attraction. Very interesting with interactive displays. The audio guide which comes with entry well worth using. Follow the numbers and hear everything. The models a bit spooky at times.

Novel to see a courthouse and adjacent jail Audio guide was informative and educational Buildings have been very well preserved and you get a great feel of what it would be like to have been locked up in a Victorian jail
