Was a very interesting visit but also very sad knowing children were locked up here in very squalid conditions. All in all a very enjoyable visit.

If you are interested in Scottish history, this view of how we treated our prison population in times gone by is very interesting. The re-enactors add to the atmosphere. We spent an interesting and informative couple of hours in the prison.
