We had an amazing three-hour voyage to the Gulf of Corryvreckan and back on Porpoise II in October 2016. Both the skipper David Ainslie and first mate Kat are extremely knowledgeable, experienced, and courteous. David has an uncanny knack for arriving at the right time, when the conditions are just right, to get close to interesting wildlife and sealife. Among... More

We went on the trip yesterday as a part of our holiday in Scotland and it was a real highlight for us. We saw sea birds, a sea eagle, deer, wild goats, an otter fishing ans eating in front of out boat and seals even with a white fluffy puppy. The crew was very sympathetic and gave us interesting and... More

We went on the 4 hour cruise in mid October and were lucky enough to see an otter, seals, porpoises, 4 white tailed eagles circling above the cliffs, red deer, feral goats, several buzzards and lots of seabirds. It was slightly surreal drifting in/near the worlds third largest whirlpool just focussed on watching the wildlife. The trip was made special... More

We saw common porpoises, white-tailed eagles, grey seals and possibly a dolphin and an otter. The skipper and the guide were passionate about the wildlife in this very special area and keen to share their enthusiasm and knowledge. Even without the wildlife encounters it would be great for the scenery. In eight trips to the area we've never done a... More

Just a wonderful experience! David and crew were awesome, extremely knowledgable and more than happy to get the kids involved looking at the sonar and gadgets. We saw LOADS of porpoises, goats, stags, sea eagles and grey seals. Only the otters evaded us. This is a highly recommended trip.

We went on the Corry Wildlife trip. We had a great day and saw otters, porpoise, diver bird, seals, deer, goats and other birds - mostly because we were each given binoculars to use and the team were great at pointing things out and positioning us to see them easily. The whirlpool and Grey Dogs were really interesting. The boat... More

Friendly and informative guided tour around the glorious west coast. Managed to see wide range of animals, from grey seals to sea eagles (with a few goats, as well). Would highly recommend.

An exhilarating boat trip with plenty of wildlife, despite the rough weather. Got excellent views of sea eagles and common seals using the binoculars handed out. David manipulated the boat masterfully and Kat the guide was very knowledgeable on both the marine wildlife and local folk stories with which she entertained us. Plus you get hot drinks and biscuits!

A fabulous trip from start to finish. Dave and Cat were welcoming from the moment we stepped on board and looked after us very really well. They found us loads of different wildlife starting with a sea otter. we were given time to look and photograph it. The best thing about this trip is nothing is rushed. Each species we... More
