We were met by Kenny and he assessed our skills and interpreted them extremely well, we are qualified with the BCU but my wife has less experience, he therefore took full advantage of the tides to assist on the day out with him guiding us and pushing us to get into interesting seas/ areas. We enjoyed this day so much... More

We gave Kenny a tall order in trying to fit what both my wife and I were after in one day - nav, tides, skills, wildlife - he didn't disappoint! I have some experience in a sea kayak and plenty on rivers, whereas my wife is pretty new to kayaking. Kenny was great at meeting both our needs and expectations... More

Really enjoyed learning about the tides and the lunar effect on tides. I loved learning to kayak. Ken is a great teacher. He is generous with information and instruction and is happy to cater for whatever you want to do. I surprised myself and found confidence to kayak all day and quite far. I would highly recommend him and I... More

Having some experience of Sea Kayaking and about to take the plunge and buy some Kayaks, we felt that we needed a detailed look at tidal planning, safety equipment and anything else that we needed to operate independently and safely. After an email discussion, we booked Kenny for 3 bespoke days. After 2 days, (the 3rd still to be arranged),... More

Had a great introduction to sea kayaking, with teaching on navigation, how to plan a trip and safety while kayaking. I learnt a lot about different rowing strokes, stearing and judging the wind direction and the current. Great weather despite it being October. Did a lot of practice on the first day, and a great trip around the island of... More

Me and a mate did a day trip with Kenny last Sunday (2nd October 16) around Seil. We had little (or no experience in my case) but with Kenny’s expert tuition we soon picked up the basics and started off on what turned out to be an absolutely fantastic day’s kayaking. Kenny is a superb instructor and really nice guy.... More

Did a day's paddling around Seil with Kenny, lasting about 4 hours, excluding breaks and transfers (ie getting the kayaks and pick-up vehicles in place) I was inexperienced, but picked it up quite quickly, and the conditions were fair and benign for it. Stunning scenery, looking out across to Mull and up towards Oban, and plenty of opportunities to see... More

My husband took a 2 day trip with Kenny. It was fantastic and we were tired at the end of both days. He supplied the kayaks and camping gear and made sure we knew how to use all of it As a novice, one of the aspects that I enjoyed most was that we did most things ourselves. Next time... More

Very hard to describe how much fun we had. A wonderful canoodle with friends and the inimitable Kenny - the king of kayak. It was fantastic - safe, expert, tailor-made and fab times were had by all. Even better, we hauled home some fantastic flotsam and jetsam artefacts, including a battered toilet seat and a 20kg ship's beam - Kenny... More
