We took the train from Edinburgh to Galashiels. It was stress free, great value for money and lots to see for the kids. Highly recommend 👍

Use the P&R at Tweedbank. A great way to get into Edinburgh stress free. The train was on time and clean.

The trip from Edinburgh to Tweedbank is a must for anyone visiting the Central Belt. There are many attractions to visit en-route from the mining museum at Newtongrange to Abbotsford in Tweedbank. In addition, in August there are usually steam hauled services on Sundays.

First time on this railway. Train was packed and as I hear it's always packed as they never put enough carriages on. Quickest way to get to central Edinburgh from tweedbank.
