Worth the trek from our base in Linlithgow. Trees and shrubs in abundance and paths and walkways very well looked after. Orchids amazing too. Excellent staff both in reception and working on the garden. Cafe and toilets very good too.

Unexpected find worth visiting. Gardens are stunning from spring through to autumn. Usually an art exhibition to view and the cafe is excellent. Lots of gluten free and vegan options. Lovely homemade cordials and rum cake. Not to be missed.

We visited during a trip to Peebles and found both the gardens and the tearoom to be charming and most attractively kept. Our lunch was delicious.

We picked a great time to visit these beautiful gardens as we had the place to ourselves and the rhododendrons were in full flower. A lovely place.

Gardens were looking great and the cafe produced excellent soup. Fortunately at age 69 I was one of the younger visitors so was able to negotiate the steep, gravel covered paths. These would be a problem to anyone less agile.More

Sorry but I am not sure. I did not see any dogs there when we were, but I cannot remember seeing any signs prohibiting them.
